SAKALA

For the parade project scheduled in Cameroon in 2024 with the French Institute of Cameroon (IFC), we have designed an imposing elephantine chimera reaching a height of 15 meters. The artwork was meticulously crafted by the Cameroonian artist Jean-Michel DISSAKE, thereby adding a unique artistic dimension to this monumental creation.

AMANITA

A fixed inflatable structure, standing at a height of 2 meters, designed upon the request of the Catalan theater company El Sidral for their ongoing production. This element, visible both in its inflated and deflated states, has been crafted with meticulous attention to its volumetric aesthetics.

WHALE-SHARK

For an event in the Middle East, we were commissioned by People Group to create a flying whale-shark measuring 15 meters in length, with a reproduction as faithful to reality as possible. A specialized team was trained to ensure its realization and presence at several ceremonies in December 2022.

HARE

We undertook the design of an inflatable hare, conceived by the set designer Emmanuel Charles, for the production of Alban Berg's opera Wozzeck. Beyond the precise aesthetic requirements, we faced the challenge of concealing the inflatable hare in a narrow chest integrated into the set, while inflating it in plain view of the audience. The premiere took place at the Théâtre du Capitole in Toulouse in 2022.

MOON

To captivate their audience during the 2021 tour, the two Toulouse-based rappers, BigFlo & Oli, approached us for the creation of a flying moon with an 8-meter diameter, illuminated from behind. We assembled a specialized team for its realization and accompanied the two artists during numerous tour dates.

BEETHOVEN

A daring venture involving the fusion of classical music, video mapping, and a moving inflatable element. To bring this vision to life, we created an imposing 5-meter tall head of Beethoven, with a statuary appearance resembling bronze and completely silent due to its remote blower. During the concert, exclusive video creations were projected onto this head, and at the culmination of the performance, it took flight, soaring above the orchestra before landing in the midst of the audience.

B-BOY

In our second collaboration with the renowned Brazilian graffiti artists Os Gemeos, we brought one of their iconic yellow characters to life. This character, standing at 20 meters tall, was designed to be both flying and articulated. It made its debut at a spectacular urban dance event orchestrated by the Berlin-based collective Flying Steps.

PARADE ENGLOUTIE

The Bordeaux-based artist Guillaumit sought our expertise for the fabrication of three wearable inflatable costumes as part of his project titled "La Parade Engloutie" (The Submerged Parade). These costumes incorporate augmented reality targets that, when viewed through mobile phones, reveal new visual elements. They were unveiled for the first time during the Bordeaux Carnival in 2021.

TOMORROWLAND

Tomorrowland, the renowned European electronic music festival, enlisted our artistic expertise for the design of a flying inflatable with a gondola, intended to roam through the crowd. We meticulously adhered to the specified design, mobilizing a specialized team dedicated to the creation and operation of this element.

LA DIVA

At the request of the renowned comic book artist, François Boucq, we designed this inflatable for a performance that fused classical music with inflatable elements. Our challenge was to allow a real soprano to hide under the skirt of our inflatable diva and then reveal her at the start of the concert. A challenge successfully met!

LA TÊTE DE JÉRÔME MOUCHEROT

The project by the talented comic book artist François Boucq involved creating a stationary inflatable representing the head of his famous character, Jérôme Moucherot. This element was to be concealed under a large hat, also designed by us using plastazote, and revealed during the opening of his exhibition at a gallery in Brussels in 2019.

LEONARDO DA VINCI

For their show Leonardo, Dreams & Nightmares, the company Plasticiens Volants entrusted us with the design of an imposing flying head measuring 6 meters in height. Equipped with dual painting and a sophisticated internal lighting system, it provides a complex and captivating graphic display.

JEUX OLYMPIQUES RIO

Air-Fabric designed inflatable structures for the opening ceremony of the Rio Olympics in 2016. Inspired by the drawings of Brazilian graffiti artist André Farkas and with the aim of evoking Brazil's history, Air-Fabric created four stationary inflatable elements. These elements, inflating live, included a rooster and three hands, forming a festive and colorful tableau around which Brazilian dancers and acrobats performed.
